Good evening everyone! The Duke and Duchess of Sussex this evening began their three day tour of Morocco.
The following few days will see engagements “enjoying Morocco‘s history and looking at its future, focused on the role of women, youth and education.''
They arrived at Casablanca airport earlier on this evening, where they were welcomed by British Ambassador Thomas Reilly. Harry and Meghan took a commercial flight, which ended up being delayed by one hour. Luckily, everything still went ahead as planned!
Prince Harry inspected a guard of honour at the airport, before the couple headed to the royal residence of King Mohammed VI, where they will be staying.
The Duchess choose a gorgeous red Valentino dress, a great satorial nod to the country’s flag! The dress is bespoke and features a caplet. It’s very a similar to this style from the Valentino Spring 2013 Couture Collection.
Meghan’s goregous new bag is a matching Valentino Small Vring Smooth Calfskin Crossbody Bag. The $2,145 piece is described as: “Valentino Garavani V-Ring crossbody bag in smooth calfskin and colored buffalo leather. And she accessorised with what is thought to be her $2,540 Natalie Marie Diamond Sun Studs and Gianvito Rossi Long Gloves in Dahlia Pink Nappa.
A look at tomorrow's schedule:
1. The Duke and Duchess will pay a visit to the Atlas Mountains to visit organisations Education For All and Lycee Asni to hear more about their efforts to educate girls.
2. Harry and Meghan will then visit the Lycee Qualifant Grand Atlas in Asni to hear more about their work in education. They will watch the pupils play football.
3. At the Education For All boarding house in Asni, Harry will present founder Michael McHugo with his MBE, which he was awarded in the New Years Honours List.
4. That evening, the couple will attend an evening reception at the British Ambassador's residence in Rabat where they will meet inspiring Moroccan women, influential young people, entrepreneurs and athletes.
